Historical Context
This spray paint is specifically crafted for tinting transparent polycarbonate bodies. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is sufficient for completing one model.
To apply, paint from the interior of the body shell rather than the exterior, as with standard plastic models. Keep the spray can around 30cm from the surface while painting. Apply additional coats as necessary post-curing. These paints resist oil and fuel, making them safe for use on gas-powered bodies.
Warning: It is important to never use this paint on standard plastic models.
Tips for applying Smoke Tint effect:
- Apply in light mist coats: Always use very light mist coats to prevent running; heavier coats are not advisable.
- Test before full application: Verify compatibility on other painted bodies with a scrap piece of polycarbonate.
- For a darker tint: Continue applying light mist coats only after previous ones are thoroughly dry.
