Historical Context
This aerosol paint is specifically created for applying color to transparent polycarbonate bodies. Each spray can holds 100ml, sufficient for completing one model.
When painting, the application is performed from within the body shell, as opposed to traditional models. It is advised to maintain a distance of about 30cm from the surface while spraying. For optimal results, it may be necessary to apply additional coats once the initial layer has cured. These paints are resistant to oil and fuel, making them safe for usage on gas-powered models.
The translucent colors provide a frosted glass appearance on polycarbonate, with options like Red, Blue, Light Blue, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Purple. These can be combined with Bright Silver to produce a deep mica effect. Translucent Silver mixed with regular colors yields a shiny metallic finish.
Warning: These paints are strictly not suitable for application on traditional plastic models.
