Historical Context
Tamiya TS spray paint is a synthetic lacquer that cures rapidly. It is particularly advantageous for painting expansive model surfaces. Notably, Tamiya spray paints are impervious to both acrylic and enamel paints. Consequently, after fully painting the model assembly, you can enhance or add details using either enamel or acrylic paints.
Each spray can holds 100ml of paint, sufficient to cover 2 or 3 car model bodies at a 1/24 scale.
NOTE: TAMIYA TS paint is inappropriate for use on clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN body shells as it may peel off. For such applications, Tamiya PS spray paint is recommended.
