Historical Context
Tamiya TS spray paint is a synthetic lacquer that cures quickly. This spray paint is particularly effective for covering large model surfaces. It remains unaffected by acrylic or enamel paints, allowing details to be enhanced afterwards with these types of paints.
Each can holds 100ml of paint, ample to cover 2 or 3 car model bodies in 1/24 scale.
TS-80 Flat Clear is designed to provide a flat finish over glossy paint coatings. Make sure that the base layer has fully cured prior to applying TS-80 to prevent cracks caused by different curing times. It is advisable to wait up to one week for optimal results.
Before applying clear coat to a finished project, conduct a test over decals, as some may be sensitive to the coating. Avoid spraying over stickers or decals.
NOTE: TAMIYA TS paint is unsuitable for Clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN R/C body shells, as it may flake off. For such applications, Tamiya PS spray paint is recommended.
