Tamiya TS-79 Semi Gloss Clear Gloss Lacquer Paint 100ml

Tamiya TS spray paint is a synthetic lacquer that cures quickly. This spray paint is ideal for adequately covering large model surfaces. Tamiya spray paints are not affected by enamel or acrylic paints. Thus, after the entire assembly has been painted, details can be added or highlighted using either enamel or acrylic paints.

Each can contains 100ml of paint, sufficient to fully cover 2 or 3 1/24 scale car model bodies.

TS79 Semi-Gloss Clear is intended for clear coating paint finishes where a semi-gloss look is preferred, especially where a gloss finish would typically be used. It is recommended to allow the paint to cure completely before applying TS79 to prevent any cracking caused by differing cure rates between paints. For optimal results, allow up to one week for curing.

It is advised to test the clear coat over decals before applying it to the completed project, as applying clear coat can damage some decals.

NOTE: TAMIYA TS paint is not suitable for clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN R/C body shells, as it will flake off. For Polycarbonate applications, please utilize Tamiya PS spray paint.

Always remember to apply light top coats and allow drying and curing for 24 hours before applying further or wet coats, if necessary.
