Tamiya TS-84 Metallic Gold Gloss Lacquer Paint 100ml

This metallic gold spray paint is intended to replicate metallic gold surfaces commonly found on automotive wheels and similar items.

For optimal results:

• It is advisable to use TS-14 BLACK as an undercoat directly on the plastic model rather than over a primer layer.
• Applying TS-84 directly onto the plastic surface may result in a rough finish and possible paint lifting when removing masking tape.
• A clear coat should not be applied over this paint. Take care while masking to avoid damaging the paint.

Tamiya TS sprays utilize a synthetic lacquer that dries quickly, making them highly effective for covering large model surfaces. These spray paints do not react adversely with acrylic or enamel paints. Hence, detailing can be painted or highlighted after the entire assembly has been completed using enamels or acrylics.

This can holds 100ml of paint, sufficient to fully cover 2 or 3 car model bodies at a 1/24 scale.

NOTE: Tamiya TS paint is unsuitable for clear Polycarbonate/LEXAN R/C shells, as it will flake off. For those applications, Tamiya PS spray paint is recommended.
