Historical Context
Tamiya acrylic paints utilize water-soluble acrylic resins, making them highly efficient for both brush painting and airbrushing. These paints can be applied to styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, along with various common model plastics. The coverage is excellent, offering smooth flow and easy blending. While the paint is still wet, it can be washed off with plain water.
For airbrushing, it is advisable to use any of these Tamiya thinners: Items-81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077.
