Suitable for styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, and standard model plastics, this paint provides excellent coverage, smooth flow, and easy blending. If necessary, paint can be wiped off with plain water prior to drying.

Tamiya bottle paint label meanings and quick tips:
- X designated colors suggest a glossy finish, while XF colors represent flat finishes.
- The paint can be thinned for airbrushing with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.
- For a flattening agent on Tamiya Gloss bottle paints, use Items 81521 and 81021 (Tamiya X-21 Flat Base). Mix in a 1:1 ratio.
- Thinning can also be achieved with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for quicker drying and a harder finish.
- Tamiya Paint Retarder (item 87114) can help achieve a smoother brushstroke-free finish.
