Tamiya acrylic paints are formulated from water-soluble acrylic resins, making them ideal for both brush and airbrushing applications. These versatile paints are compatible with styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, and various common model plastics. They provide excellent coverage, smooth flow, and easy blending. Water can be used to wash away any paint before it cures.
When using an airbrush, ensure you utilize any of the following Tamiya thinners: Items-81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077.

The paint can be thinned with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner. - Finishing:
Use Items 81521 and 81021 (Tamiya X-21 Flat Base) as a flattening agent by mixing with a gloss color in a 1:1 ratio. - Thinner:
Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can also be used for thinning, resulting in a harder finish and faster drying. - Flattening:
Tamiya Paint Retarder (item 87114) can be added for a smoother finish when brushing.
