These paints are compatible with styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, as well as common plastics used in modeling. The application delivers excellent coverage, a smooth flow, and allows for easy blending. Uncured paint can be removed with plain water.
When using an airbrush, ensure the appropriate Tamiya thinners are utilized: Items-81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077.

- Airbrushing: The paint can be thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner.
- Finishing: Items 81521 and 81021 (Tamiya X-21 Flat Base) can flatten Tamiya Gloss bottle paints. Mix in a ratio of 1:1 for optimal results.
- Thinner: Thinning the paint with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner will result in a quicker drying time and a tougher finish.
